Only two more days left to gather up the cool holiday sale stuff. It’s all marked down and needs a good home. What’s left will soon be sent to the island of unwanted toys. You don’t want that on your conscience. So take back those plaid pants your Aunt Sofie gave you and come in and buy what you really want. You can also still take advantage of our awesome gift card special. Here’s the deal you can treat yourself to a $50 gift card and get a $5 one for free. It doesn’t get any better than that. Well unless you buy a $100 gift card, then we’ll give you a free $10 gift card. Yeah…. that’s even better. I can keep going, but you get the point. Art supplies for a friend are a good thing. Art supplies for yourself are even better. Who say’s it’s better to give than to receive?
If we don’t see you before, have a Happy New Year!!!

Hello, my name is Stacy I am the manager of Utrecht Kansas City store. I have been working at Utrecht for 6 years.
I’m a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute, with a BFA in Illustration and Design. My professional life after graduation led me down a varied path from freelance illustration work and graphic design, to furniture design and mold-making for collectable figurines. My diverse experience with art supplies and the desire to work with a small artist focused company naturally led me to Utrecht. Six years later I have realized there is always more to learn and it’s awesome to get paid to be surrounded by the things you love. Currently my focus has been on oil, acrylic and watercolor painting.
We are located at 4142 Main Street (across the street from Office Depot and Starbucks). We are just a few blocks from the Kansas City Art Institute and both the Kemper Museum and Nelson Atkins. Utrecht Kansas City is a full service art supply store carrying products from hundreds of national brands. Everyone at Utrecht from the top to the bottom is here because they share the same love for everything about art and art supplies and we hope you will see that reflected in our store.
Currently there are 6 members of our Utrecht Family. Megan the assistant Manager has been here over 6 years and is also a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute. Megan Graduated with a BFA in Printmaking and currently has been focused on both printmaking and painting. Next we have “Mac” who is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College where she received her BA in Theatre Design and later received her Masters Degree from Pratt Institute. Mac’s current focus is on painting in both Oils and Acrylic. Next we have Sarah B. a current student at the Kansas City Art Institute in the Printmaking Department. Then we have Sarah K. a graduate of Alfred University with a BFA in Ceramics. Last but certainly not least we have Daniel our resident photographer who is currently finishing up his degree at Rockhurst University. We are excited to say we have gotten him out of the darkroom and painting. Between the six of us chances are whatever project you may be working on, or question you may have one of us will be able to help you out.
We love a challenge and if we don’t have the answer we will do our best to find one. When we are not here at Utrecht chances our you’ll find us in our studio’s. We love the opportunity to share our creative experience with you and hope you will do the same and share your experience with us.
